United Against Bullying

At St Wilfrid's, we actively encourage an environment in which children care for each other, respect differences and where bullying is unacceptable. Every year we join in with the national Anti-bullying week to raise the profile of how we can continue to work together for our supportive, caring and safe school environment.

The theme for anti-bullying week this year was ‘United against bullying’ and we took part in the ‘Odd Socks Challenge’. Children were invited to wear odd socks on Monday 16th November to celebrate difference and what makes us all unique.

Throughout the week, our children focused on anti-bullying through assemblies and learning activities. Each child created a pledge, which are on display throughout the school, and each class recorded a section of the Odd Socks song which we then joined together to create our own version! You can listen to our song below!
